Chelsea’s World: A Little Life Update

Hi friends,
It’s been a while since I’ve written, and I wanted to take a moment to share what’s been on my heart—and why I’ve been a little quiet lately.
The truth is… we’ve been holding onto something incredibly special.
We are expecting our first baby in August 2026! 💙
Even typing that still feels surreal. This journey hasn’t been a quick or easy one for us. We have been trying for over a year and a half, walking through hope, disappointment, patience, and a whole lot of prayer. We were even preparing for a fertility appointment when God moved in the most unexpected and beautiful way. His timing is truly perfect.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
We found out very early, which brought so much joy—but also a lot of fear. When something so precious feels so fragile, you realize how little control you truly have. There were moments of worry, quiet prayers in the middle of the night, and leaning fully into faith.
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” – Psalm 56:3
But through it all, God has been so faithful.
And now, I am so happy to share—we are halfway through this pregnancy already! Every milestone has felt like a victory, every heartbeat a reminder of God’s goodness. We truly could not be happier.
And the sweetest surprise of all…
We’re having a baby boy. 💙
How amazing is that? Watching this little life grow has been the greatest blessing, and we already love him more than we ever thought possible.
“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.” – Psalm 127:3
This season has taught me so much about surrender, trust, and the beauty of waiting on God. His plans are always greater than our own, even when we don’t understand the timing.
As we prepare to welcome our little boy into the world, we’ve started putting together a baby registry. If you’d like to follow along or check it out, you can find it here:
More than anything, we just ask for your prayers—for continued health, peace, and a safe delivery in August.
Thank you for being part of Chelsea’s World, and for all the love and support you’ve shown, even during the quiet seasons. There’s so much more to come, and I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” – Psalm 126:3
With love,
Chelsea
