Chelsea's World is my very own passion project filled with unique and engaging content. Explore my site and all that I have to offer—perhaps my online personal blog will spark excitement in your life, as well. So, sit back, relax and read on.

One year ago today—July 20, 2024—I experienced the greatest day of my life thus far, standing beside you, promising forever in front of God, but I wake up each morning more and more in love because every day since has been even better.

Over the past year, I’ve felt the Holy Spirit working on my heart. I’ve grown, yes—but I also feel a deep conviction that there’s more He wants to do in me. And to fully hear His voice, I know I need to quiet some of the noise. So, within the next 24 hours, I’ll be stepping away from social media and deleting all of my accounts. I don’t know for how long, or if I’ll ever return the same way—but I trust God with this step. He’s calling me deeper.

To Cody—thank you. I am in awe of what God has already done in just one year, and I cannot wait to see what He will do in the years ahead. I love you endlessly, and I am so excited for the rest of our lives together.

Flashback to exactly one year ago today — we were sweating our butts off in the summer heat, and I was totally unaware of what was coming, but you had been carrying this ring with you all day! Hours later, just the two of us… the best man I’ve ever known asked me to marry him. I said yes of course but…I’m pretty sure I blacked out from pure excitement. 🥹✨
It ended up being the second best day of my life — because the best one was still to come. 🥂

Looking back to April when I was woken up at like 3am to a almost frozen baby. A warm bath and a friend later she was good to go. I am so thankful for this life!

Waiting between the surgeries wasn’t the hardest part- but it was hard. The in-between held a lot of unknowns, quiet moments, and deep breaths. A few months ago, we got engaged!! It was incredibly difficult to keep this a secret from the world, however for about a year we have been planning our special and private wedding!

We started checking off wedding preparation boxes, such as finding a dress, and getting our marriage license!

Before we knew it, it was wedding month!

From that moment forward we began our new journey as Mr. & Mrs. Cody Hutchison!

As I reflect back on this past school year I am filled with so much joy and pride for all the hard work our kiddos and staff put into each and every day!
